A very early issue of the world's oldest continually published English language newspaper, having begun in 1666 and is still publishing today.
The issue is filled with various reports from throughout Europe, much of it military reporting. Included at the bottom of the back page is a report on the deaths the Great Plague which afflicted much of Europe at this time: "The account of this weeks bill runs thus. The total 236. Of the Plague 58. Increased in all 2. Increased of the Plague 5." (see)
Complete as a single sheet newspaper, 7 by 11 inches, two minor worm holes in blank margins, very nice condition.
