THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Oct. 17, 1681 The back page has a report noting: "Richard Janeway, Richard Baldwyn, and James Vade...to answer to such information as shall be exhibited against them...ordered to prosecute them for publishing and dispersing divers false and seditious news-books and pamphlets tending to the disturbance of the peace and quiet of His Majesties government."
Single sheet, 7 by 11 inches, small posting hole at the top,nice condition.
