ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS, England, bound volume containing all 26 weekly issues for July 3 thru December 25, 1852.  Within these 588 pages  are a great number of woodblock engravings with a wide variety of tops. The list below and the photos shown are just a sampling as a complete listing which be much too lengthy.

Prints include: "Eastbourne, Sussex" "Whitby, Yorkshire" "Mount Alexander (Australia) Gold-Diggers at Evening Mess" "The Forest Creek Diggings, Mount Alexander, Port Phillip" "The Golden Point, Ballarat" "The Riot at Stockkport" "The Late Henry Clay" "The Burmese War" "South Wales Railway" "Great Fire at Montreal" Canada; another full page with 3 prints of the fire at Montreal; 2 pages with ten: "Sketches From the Turon Gold Fields, New South Wales" Australia; several prints on Queen Victoria's visit to Belgium; "Sketches in Burmah" "The Kaffir War" "The Botallack Mine, Cornwall" "Etna In Eruption" shows the volcano; a huge number of prints on the death & funeral of the Duke of Wellington; "Opening of the New Parliament--Arrival of Her Majesty at the Victoria Tower" "Wellington, Sumerset" "The Inundation At Oxford" "The Search for Sir John Franklin" "The City of Salisbury During the Recent Floods" "Plum Pudding: A Dream of Christmas"; the Christmas Supplement; and so much more.

The board are missing as is most of the leather spine. All issues are still bound together and the pages and prints within are generally in very nice, clean condition (see photos). A fine opportunity for a tremendous wealth of prints from 1852.
