Page 3 has a rather inconspicuous report headed: " 'Billy the Kid' Killed." The report, being just a paragraph, begins: "The Las Vegas, N. M., Gazette has positive information that 'Billy the Kid,' the notorious murderer and outlaw, who for several years had been the terror of the New Mexican cattle men, was on the 14th inst. killed by Pat Garrett, sheriff of Lincoln County..." with just a bit more (see).
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, various folds with some tears & small holes at fold junctures and margins.
