Inside has various reports, including one that says: "...Gen. Howe had appeared in the Delaware...and that Gen. Washington had sent a great part of his army over the Delaware...". There is also a letter from Gen. Washington to Gen. Howe in which he proposes and exchange of Gen. Prescott for Gen. Lee, signed in type: G. Washington.
Also a report that says: "...Mr. Washington, with the Army under his command, crossed the Delaware on Saturday last....that his march from Morris-Town was performed with such rapidity as cost him between 200 and 300 men, who through excessive fatigue died."
An entire page has the conclusion of an editorial "On The American Rebellion" that appeared in a Nova Scotia paper, signed: The Man in the Moon. Another page has, from the New York Gazette, a candid and detailed "apology" written by a "General Officer" in the "rebel northern army" concerning the evacuation of Ticonderoga by the American forces.
