NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Maryland, April 26, 1817  The content includes: "New Jersey Canal" "Pittsburg Report" which takes 5 1/2 pages; and more.
The back page has a significant item: "Abolition of Slavery in the state of New York - By a law passed on the thirty-first of March, 1817, the final & total abolition of slavery within this state is declared to take place on the 4th day of July, 1817..." with more.
Sixteen pages, 6 1/4 by 9 3/4 inches in good condition.

This small size newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the 19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
