Included within is the "Supplement to The New York Times" with its own masthead, and in the first column: "From Washington" "The President's Message and Reports of the Secretaries" and more (see). At the top of the third column is: "President's Message" to Congress taking four columns, and almost 1 1/2 more on pg. 4, signed in type: Abraham Lincoln. This is immediately followed by a: "Proclamation" offering a pardon to Confederates who take a loyalty oath (text included), signed in type: Abraham Lincoln.
Civil war reports throughout as well.
Twelve pages, very nice, clean condition.
