THE MORNING POST & DAILY ADVERTISER, London, Nov. 5, 1790 Page 3 has: "...from an officer in the service of the United States from Fort Harmar on the Ohio, we learn that the banditti of Cherokee and Shawanese Indians, who had long infested the River Fanessee and the adjacent country, had been attacked and entirely dispersed after a conflict with the militia in which they lost upwards of thirty men."
