Page 2 has a rather inconspicuous report announcing the death of famed outlaw Jesse James, with: "Jesse James, the famous robber, was shot dead by Robert Ford at St. Joseph, Mo., Monday forenoon...." with a bit more (see). Also a report noting: "Cornelius J. Vanderbilt shot himself at the Glenham Hotel, in New York city...He was subject to epileptic fits & these, together with losses in gambling & stock operations, depressed him and led him to suicide."
Four pages, large folio size, small tape mend to the front page, bit irregular at the spine, nice condition.
