THE LIBERATOR, Boston, May 5, 1865  The masthead of this famous anti-slavery newspaper includes engravings of slaves being sold, then slaves being freed.  Page 2 has: "Abraham Lincoln" "Remarks At The Funeral Services Of The President, In Concord, April 27, 1865. By R. W. Emerson". Pg. 4 poems: "Hymn" & "A Funeral Ode" are both in honor of Lincoln. Also an interesting article: "Colored People Excluded From The Funeral Procession". The front page has: "General Lee".
Four pages, very nice condition.
