PUCK, New York, Sept. 3, 1890  Puck was America's first successful humor magazine of colorful cartoon caricatures and political satire, publishing from 1871 until 1918. It was also the first to successfully adopt full color lithography printing for a weekly publication. The color prints are much desired for their displayability. This issue has as its political cartoons:
front page: "A Big Job For A Weak Washerwoman."
double-page centerfold: "Building the High Tariff Tomb for the Republican Pharaohs."
back page: "The Close of the Season."
Complete in 16 pages, tipped-in centerfold, nice condition, 13 1/4 by  10 1/4 inches.
