THE POST-BOY, London, England, Dec. 2, 1721
* Rare title w/ nice masthead
* Early pirates robbery on high seas
The front page has a rather brief report which mentions the arrival of a ship: "...which was robbed by the Pyrates of a considerable sum in gold and silver, and some wine and rum." The earliest part of this news report is missing a line due to being close-trimmed at the bottom. Also front page mention of: "The Slaves redeemed by the late Treaty..." visiting the St. Paul's cathedral to: "...return thanks to Almighty God for their deliverance."
Very decorative masthead with two engravings in the masthead. Great condition save for the close-trimming, 8 1/4 by 14 1/4 inches.
