February 07, 1883

THE DESERET NEWS, Sale Lake City (Utah), Feb. 7, 1883  Most of the front page is taken up with: "Capture of The Train Robbers" "Two Are Captured After A Desperate Fight & The Others Surrender Without A Struggle." This is a fascinating article in that it takes a bit over 3 full columns on the ftpg., with incredible detail (photos show just portions).
Also within are: "Freedom Of Worship In Utah" "A Non-'Mormon' On Anti-Polygamy" "The Dead Creeds of Christiandom" "Elder Brigham Young" and near the back is: "The Captured Outlaws. Something More About the Bandits" which takes over a full column.
Never bound nor trimmed, various minor tears at the margins, otherwise in good condition.
