Humiliating peace terms given to Germany...

Item # 609245

May 7, 1919

EVENING HERALD, Los Angeles, May 7, 1919  Above the masthead is a banner head: "IRON TREATY GIVEN GERMANY" and a very large, bold banner headline announces: "REVEAL PEACE TERMS" with a subhead: "First Indemnity is 5 Billion; Gives Up All Colonies; Army Cut". It was this punishing treaty which angered so many in Germany, including Adolph Hitler, & is credited in part for instigating World War  II.
Included are pages 1, 2,  7 & 8, the pages which contain the continued articles concerning the treaty which ended World War I. Cleanly cut at the spine, minor  margin tears, nice condition.
