HERALD EXAMINER, Los Angeles, Aug. 28, 1963 The front page has one of the best headlines to be had concerning this historic Civil Rights March on Washington, D.C. with: THE GREAT MARCH At Least 200,000" in large, bold letters (see). At the very top is a photos showing the: "Demonstrators march down Constitution Ave from Washington Monument to Lincoln Memorial..." Also on the front page is a photo of a young African-American headed: "The Face of Protest". It was at this march where Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his immortal "I have a dream..." speech (not included here). Many photos and more text are found on pages 14-15.
