THE DETROIT NEWS (from an 1865 Harper's Weekly), Rotogravure Section only, February 12, 1922  In celebration of Abraham Lincoln's birthday, the Detroit News printed an enlarged image of one of the most famous Abraham Lincoln prints of the 19th century - that being the front cover of the May 6, 1865 Harper's Weekly showing Lincoln reading to his son (Tad). While this print may not be the first done, it would be wonderful framed, and is currently almost 100 years old. The print, "A FATHER AND HIS SON" (oringinally titled "President Lincoln At Home"), measures nearly 16 1/2 by 20 inches and is in very good condition - but is fragile (typical for the 1920's).
