THE SPECTATOR, New York, June 23, 1798 The back page has most of a column taken up with two Acts of Congress, headed by a engraving of a heraldic eagle, one to: "enable the President...to Procure Cannon, Arms and Ammunition..." and the other: "To Authorize the President...to procure to be purchased or built, a number of small vessels to be equipped as gallies or otherwise." each signed in type by the President: John Adams, & by the Vice President: Th. Jefferson (see).
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
