Item # 606928

June 2, 1860

SUPPLEMENT TO THE NEW YORK TIMES, June 2, 1860

* Character of Abraham Lincoln

Page 2 has most of a column taken up with a report headed: "Political" "The Canvass in Kentucky" " 'Honest Old Abe' In His Native State".
The report begins: "Abraham Lincoln, personally, is spoken well of by all. As an individual, he is liked for his honesty and sincerity, his democratic habits and manners, and his Henry Clay type of character..." with much more on the character of Abraham Lincoln. A terrific article. See the photos for the full report.
This is a four page "Supplement" issue, folio size and in nice condition.
