DAILY RICHMOND EXAMINER, Virginia, March 26, 1864  From the capital of the Confederacy. The front page has: "Longstreet's Command--East Tennessee" "The Exchange Question" "Accidental Death of a Gallant Soldier" "Opposition to Lincoln" & other war-related items. The back page has a lengthy editorial concerning General Butler & Abraham Lincoln, with another part of the editorial beginning: "Impudence, sublime in audacity, astounding in assumption, is certainly the most marked trait of the Yankee character..." with much more. Also: "Confederate Saddles"; a letter from "Camp of 2nd Maryland Infantry" and other items.
Complete as a single sheet issue, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
