Page 3 has a great article taking nearly 2 columns headed: "Runaway Slaves", beginning: "It has latterly been said, again & again, that the South would dissolve the Union if fugitive slaves were not sent back when called for..." (see for portions) which is a prophetic statement concerning the Civil War, ten years away at this point.
Page 6 has a nearly column-long article signed by: Abolitionist, headed: "A Plea for the Fugitive Slave Law on the Ground of its Humanity".
Eight pages, light foxing & wear at the ftpg. folds, very nice condition.
