December 12, 1787

PENNSYLVANIA PACKET & DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, Dec. 12, 1787  Page 3 has a report from Hartford noting in part: "...that all good men must be pleased with the prospect that this state will adopt the federal government, without altercation or the violence of party. The convention...will be composed of the most respectable men...". A report from Newport ends with comments on the new Constitution (see). Also a report from Congress concerning governance of the Northwest Territory (see).
The front page has 12 illustrated Ship ads. Four pages, never-trimmed margins, bit of foxing, very nice condition.
