HARPER'S WEEKLY, New York, March 21, 1863  The front page has images of: "Hon. John Van Buren" and "James T. Brady". Inside has a full page with five prints: "Cutting The Levees at Providence" which includes a view of "The Canal at Lake Providence", Mississippi. A half pg: "The Loss of the 'Queen of the West' " and another: "Repairing the Levee at New Orleans at the Expense of the U.S. Government"; a full page: "The Gold Panic in Wall Street--Entrance of the Public  Board" & another: "Destruction of the Clipper Ship 'Jacob Bell' by the British Pirate  'Florida' ".
The doublepage centerfold is an expansive scene of: "On the Levee at New Orleans on the Departure of the Paroled Rebel Prisoners, February 20, 1863" which shows thousands of people.
The back page has a cartoon: "Rappahannock Mud". Complete in 16 pages, very nice condition.
