NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Oct. 13, 1814 The first column has 2 letters from Commodore Chauncey to the Secretary of the Navy concerning his actions in the Great Lakes (see). Also on the ftpg: "Fort Bowyer", a short-lived earthen fort in Mobile Bay which successful held off the British in September.
Page 2w has: "From the Western Waters" and "Skirmish at Rock River" plus other war-related content inside.
