THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, March 1, 1764  Page 5 has: "America - Extract of a Letter from Quebec" which notes in part: "...had yesterday a visit from an Indian Chief, the Sachem of the Christian Hurons & his squaw; they were neatly dressed & spoke good French...", he noting that: "...the Indians were not governed by French, but were free all over the world...he would gladly cross the Great Lake to visit the Great King..." (see).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 3/4 inches, water staining at the spine, never-trimmed margins, full red tax stamp on pg. 4, nice condition.
