Well over half of page 2 is taken up with a: "Debate In The Senate - Recapture of Fugitive Slaves" which would ultimately result in the Fugitive Slave Act. Includes are many speeches by "Mr. Davis, of Mississippi", being Jefferson Davis.
The back page has most of a column taken up with: "California" which has much relating to the effects of the Gold Rush (see for beginning).
Four pages, nice condition.
