July 21, 1874

NEW YORK HERALD, July 21, 1874  The top of page 5 has: "The Indian Outbreak" "General Custer's Movement Into the Black Hills" "The Sioux Growing Restless" "Number & Positions of Our Troops on the Frontier" "The Quaker Indian Commissioners Returning" "The Attack of the 4th". An interesting account, taking 1 1/2 columns, on George A. Custer in the Black Hills nearly 2 years before his fatal encounter with the Sioux.
Twelve pages, bit of foxing, very nice.
