This genuine newspaper has a Wealth of Civil War reporting from during Abraham Lincoln's administration. Among the one column headings on the Civil War are: "The Depredations Of The Alabama", "British and French Infractions of the Neutrality Laws", "Volunteer Privateers to be Fitted Out", "Our Harbor Defenses" and more.
The issue is complete in eight pages, some very lite scattered foxing, otherwise is in good condition. It is not fragile as newsprint from this era was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle.
