Hope for a repeal of the Stamp Act...

THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Dec. 10, 1765 The back page has a report from Newport which gives a hint that the Stamp Act might be repealed. The letter, received from England, notes: "I give you joy on the revolution in the Ministry. I hope it will produce some real benefit to the distressed Americans. Indeed it is confidently asserted, the changes will cause great ease to the inhabitants of America."
Eight pages, 8 1/4 by 11 1/4 inches, nice condition.
