The front page has the following one column headlines: "RECONSTRUCTION", "The South Carolinians & the President", "Plain Words by the Chief Magistrate", "Conditions to the Readmission of the Palmetto State", "The Abandonment of Slavery Essential", "The Delegates Concede It". Other news of the day includes: "The Choctaw Indians" "Disaster At Sea" "Negro Suffrage And The Church" and much more.
There is also a lengthy report "Arizona" "Its Resources and Prospects - How To Get There" "Letter From the Secretary of the Territory".
This is a triple sheet newspaper, complete in 12 pages, with a few tiny binding holes along the left spine. There is also an archival mend on the page with the "Arizona" report which occurred at the time of printing and does affect some text of the report. Otherwise the issue is in nice condition.
