FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Aug. 30, 1865 The front page shows: "E. K. Kane, M.D., U.S.N., Commander of the Late Exploring Expedition". Inside has a nearly half page print: "The Jews' Walk, City of Odessa, Russia" and has a related article: "The Jews' Walk At Odessa" (see). The same page has an article and print of: "Grand Cathedral on the Main Plaza, City of Grenada, Nicaragua" which includes mention of General Walker being inaugurated as President.
Other prints include: "Members of the Scientific Convention in the Academy Park, Albany, N.Y." "Yellow Fever Excitement at Quarantine, Staten Island...Destruction of the Barricades" "The Capitol, City of Albany..." "St. Paul's Protestant Episcopal Church, Norfolk, Virginia" "South Front of the Great Central Railway Station Just Completed at Chicago, Ill." "and another view of it as well.
A full page is taken up with many illustrations & some text on: "United States Infantry Tactics". Complete in 16 pages, never bound nor trimmed so it folds out to one large sheet, very nice, clean condition.
