Most of the front page, all of page 2 & a bit of page 3 are taken up with: "Mitigation of Slavery--No. 7", part of a continuing series on the slavery issue in the United States. It offers some interesting concepts (see for portions). Close to 3 pages are taken up with: "Indian Affairs".
Sixteen pages, 6 by 9 3/4 inches, very minor damp staining, nice condition.

This small size newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the 19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
