September 28, 1767
THE PENNSYLVANIA CHRONICLE & UNIVERSAL ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, Sept. 28, 1767 Beginning on the front page, taking a full column, and carrying over to take nearly two columns on page 2 is a great article, being an: "Extract from the Third Part of that Valuable Book entitled: 'The Present State of Great Britain and North America'...containing the state of trade between Great Britain and North America; the Danger of Taxing the Colonies, and their Apparent Wealth...". This is an interesting analysis concerning the financial relationship between England and the colonies, with discussion of the colonial debt from the French and Indian War, etc. (see for portions).
Four pages, folio size, coat-of-arms engraving in the masthead, a bit irregular at the spine and a few spots, generally in very nice condition.
