Page 4 has a half-column editorial titled: "Frederick Douglass" which begins: "In the death of Frederick Douglass this country loses its most representative colored citizen. There are others who posses brains, education and talent, but none of them measure up to Douglass' standard of greatness..." with more (see).  There is also a short pg. 1 item concerning the adjournment of the North Carolina legislature in honor or Douglass (see).
Eight pages, evenly toned, various tears at margins, partially loose at the spine. Is rather fragile & must be handled carefully.
