The entire front page is taken up with a huge and very detailed map headed: "SUPPOSED DESTINATION OF BURNSIDE'S EXPEDITION" "With a box in the lower right noting; "Map of Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds, & Seat of War From Fortress Monroe, Va., to Wilmington, N.C. with their strategic points & Railway Connections."
As if this was not sufficient, the back page also has a map headed: "The Gun-Boat Expedition Up The Tennessee - Position of Fort Henry" with many nice first column heads on t: "Fort Henry Captured!" "Victory Upon Victory!!" and much more (see photos).
Eight pages, very nice condition.
