From the press of the very first newspaper to proclaim separation from the Union with its famous 'UNION IS DISSOLVED ! " broadside (see hyperlink). This issue has much on the Civil War including front page: "The Impending Battle In Tennessee--Bragg's Address to His Army--the Latest Movements" which includes the General Order signed in type: Braxton Bragg. Also: "Latest From Richmond" "The Crisis In Tennessee--Latest Details from the Armies of Bragg & Rosecrans" "Letters From Richmond" "The Finances" ""From the Northern Papers" and more.
Although the back page is mostly taken up with ads it does have: "The Siege" "Carolina Light Infantry" & a few other war-related items.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper in great condition.
