Page 4 has an article: "Negro Burning" which provides an account of that very act. The slave was accused of murdering his master & mistress, captured, tortured to confess: "...by screwing his fingers & then his hands in a vice until all the bones were mashed...Finally he was tied to a tree in front of his late master's house, a large pile of pitch pine built around him & then set fire to & burned to ashes..." with more (see photos). The articles takes half a column.
This is complete in 8 pages and is in good condition.
