The front page has nearly a column headed: "Death of Gen. J. H. Morgan" and also: "PEACE! PEACE! Martial Law Abolished! The Habeas Corpus Restored". This was a white supremacist newspaper from during & just after the Civil War, proclaiming by its publishers: "White Supremacy" with more on the paper's political stance (see).
Eight pages, a few printing errors cause loss of readability in spots, generally nice.
