The front page of the sport's section (inside) has a nice banner headline: "FLORIDA STATE KICK DEADLOCKS PENN STATE, 17-17" with subheads (see photos). This is 1st report on the 1967 Gator Bowl between the Penn State Nittany Lion and the Florida State Seminoles. This was Joe Paterno's very 1st bowl game. He currently holds the record for the most bowl wins and appearances.
Other news, sports and advertismeents of the day throughout. A thick 150+ page Sunday edition, a little margin wear on the first few pages, otherwise in good condition.
