EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, Nov. 1, 1775 The front page has an interesting report from Parliament noting in part: "...Duke of Richmond...expressed himself much in favour of America, declaring that the colonists had been provoked by administration to the present rebellion...that no reasonable man...could imagine that America...aimed at independency; on the contrary, it was evident she intreated to be continued as heretofore, connected with Old England...". Several other references to America in these Parliamentary reports.
Page 2 has a few additional references to America. Four pages, archival repair at the blank spine, generally nice condition.
