THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, March 16, 1773 The entire front page and a bit of pg. 2 are taken up with an article titled: "Upon The Slavery of Negroes in the British Colonies: Showing, that they are much happier than in their Native Country; much happier than the Subjects of Arbitrary Governments; and at least as happy as the Labourers of Britain." Certainly some interesting reading (see for portions).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
