The top of page 2 has a brief but interesting report: "By the advices received yesterday from France we learn that the report of Mr. Washington having resigned his command in the American army gains great credit in the mercantile line as well as the French Court." and also: "...it is reported that Sir James Wright & the Assembly of Georgia, who lately imposed duties on their constituents to raise a revenue for this country, have been obliged to fly, & to take shelter in Charlestown, South Carolina."
