THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, Dec. 23, 1780 

* American Revolutionary War

Page 2 has a report from the South Carolina Gazette noting in part: "...a considerable body of Col. Wigfall's & Col. Ball's regiments of militia, crossed the Santee at Egan's ferry, on the day following encamped within 8 miles of this town..." with a bit more (see). Page 3 has an item from Camden, S.C. which includes: "...There are already two divisions of the army ...under the immediate command of Lords Cornwallis and Rawdon...It is conjectured our route will be by Salisbury...there is not any doubt but we will subdue North Carolina and Virginia in the course of this winter..." and a bit more (see).
Four pages, some dirtiness to the top portion of page 1 only, full red tax stamp on the front page, nice condition.
