A page 3 report headed "Federal City" begins: "On Monday last being the appointed day, the President of the United States arrived in this town & on Wed. put the finishing hand to the location of the Federal City..." with further particulars as to where the buildings will be constructed, including the house for the President.
The front page has: Description of Tippoo Saib's Person" which is about Tipu Sultan of India (see). Also on the ftpg. "Cruelty to Slaves" which is a piece supporting abolishment of the slave trade (see).
Complete in four pages with scattered lite foxing, otherwise in good condition.
