Huge map of New York City...

SUPPLEMENT TO HARPER'S WEEKLY, June 7, 1873  This is the huge "Supplement" issue which normally is in shambles, due to being folded & unfolded many times thru the past 100+ years. But this one is in great condition. It is captioned: "New York And Its Surroundings" with subhead: "Map of the Metropolis From the Battery to 108th Street, and Parts of Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Jersey City, and Hoboken." This map has considerable detail, showing all the streets of the bottom half of Manhattan island. It measures 22 1/2 by 31 inches and is in overall good condition - but has been archivally mended from the reverse side in several locations. Dated at the top margin. A terrific display item.
