THE EDINBURGH ADVERTISER, Scotland, Sept. 3, 1765  Inside has: "America" with reports from New York including: "...that a mint officer was going to be established in this place for coining silver, etc." and a report from Boston begins: "Funerals without mourning, or the giving of English gloves, is become so fashionable that there has been but one burial for many months past, & that a negro, in the old fashion way..." with a bit more (see).
