THE NEW YORK TIMES, July 26, 1946 The front page has a significant report--with map--on the work towards creating a Jewish homeland in Israel/Palestine, with a three column headline reading: "DIVIDED PALESTINE IS URGED BY ANGLO-U.S. CABINET BODY, DELAYING ENTRY OF 100,000" with related subheads as well. The map is headed: "New Deal In Holy Land Proposed" with a descriptive caption as well (see).
Complete in 36 pages being the desired "rag edition" which used very high quality newsprint meant for libraries. Still very white and in great condition.
