A very early newspaper from Indiana. Among the articles within are: "Most Extraordinary!" "The Mints" being a brief report; an item noting: "About 2000 Mormons, mostly young men, have crossed the Mississippi on their way to California. They are to form the avant guard of the Mormon expedition. They have started early for the purpose of providing the necessary subsistence for those who are to follow." (see)
Four pages, some foxing, a 2 1/2 by 3 inch piece cut from the back leaf, otherwise good.
