The text includes: "...agreeably to a provision of the Constitution, the members of the Senate & of the House of Representatives...assembled...to count the votes of the elects for, & determine the election of a President and Vice President of the U. States; when John Adams Esq. was declared to be elected President, and Thomas Jefferson, Esq. Vice President..." with a bit more (see).
