Mention of made of the curious coincidence: "...Thus of the six former Presidents, by a coincidence for which it would be difficult to find a parallel in history, three have been called away in a good old age on the same proud anniversary..." as both John Adams & Thomas Jefferson died on the 4th of July, 1826 (see).
Page 2 also has: "The Execution" which begins: "The two pirates Collinet and Gadet were executed on Friday morning at half past 8 on the jail wharf..." with further details. And the front page has: "Sea Monster" with much detail (see).
