The entire front page & some of pg. 2 are taken up with "A Letter from Edmund Burke, one of the Representatives in Parliament...on the Affairs of America". An inside pg. has a "...Letter from an Officer who was at the Expedition of Peek's Kill..." (see), followed by a letter from a man in Connecticut to a friend in Philadelphia, which includes: "...account is received here from Phila. of a skirmish in the Jerseys between a detached party of the King's troops & near a thousand provincials...British troops pursued the enemy ..." (see photos).
The back page has a report concerning events in New Jersey including: "...letter from Morristown...received an account of a skirmish with the outposts of the Philistine army near Brunswick..." with more (see). Also an article: "Detached Pieces from Captain Cook's Voyage round the World - Human Sacrifices" and also: "Otaheiti [Tahiti] Women" (see).
Eight pgs., measures 8 3/4 by 11 in., great condition.
